Tasks

Tasks help you stay on top of follow-ups and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You can create tasks from anywhere in the app and track their completion.

Creating Tasks

To create a task:

  1. Click the Task button on a contact's profile, or
  2. Click + New Task from the main Tasks section

Fill in:

  • Task Title: What you need to do (e.g., "Follow up on proposal")
  • Description: Additional details about the task
  • Due Date: When it's due
  • Priority: High, Medium, or Low
  • Assigned To: You or another team member
  • Contact: Link it to a specific contact (optional)

Click Save to create the task.

Task Priorities and Due Dates

Tasks are sorted by priority and due date:

  • High Priority: Urgent tasks that need immediate attention
  • Medium Priority: Normal tasks
  • Low Priority: Nice-to-do items

Tasks with approaching due dates appear at the top of your list to remind you they're coming up.

Completing Tasks

Once you've completed a task:

  1. Find it in your task list
  2. Click the checkbox next to the task name, or
  3. Open the task and click Mark as Complete

Completed tasks move out of your active list but stay in your history for reference.

Create tasks during calls to capture next steps before you forget. Your task list becomes your action plan.

Task Reminders

You'll receive notifications when:

  • A task is assigned to you
  • A task is due soon
  • A task is overdue

Check your notification settings in your profile to customize how you receive task reminders.

Linking tasks to contacts keeps everything organized. When you open a contact, you'll see all their associated tasks.
